Pre-Design

This process usually begins with a meeting to discuss ideas with the customer usually involving pencil sketching and brainstorming. We then take the ideas from paper to our CAD program to begin the design. Our goal is to give the customer the frame he or she wants. We strive to meet that goal with a high degree of customer service, attention to detail and focusing our attention on only one frame at a time.

Design

As soon as you are confident that your overall design matches your vision and budget, only then do we move into a contract. Once we begin the planning stage of your project there is still room for minor modifications to the design, such as window sizes and door heights. Your designer will work with you to finalize these aspects prior to final construction drawings. Design congruity is very important. The best way to ensure the consistency and quality of your design from concept through construction is to create detailed, engineered construction drawings. Construction Drawings are Completed After the Contract is signed.

Construction

The quality of our framing, as we take complete responsibility for the materials the most efficient installation times, since we know our product better than anyone that your builder doesn't need to be familiar with timber framing in order to compete for your project. This gives you more flexibility in finding the right builder for your home.

Enclosures

An integral part of our building system is the SIP enclosure. From here is up to you and your builder to seal your envelope and finish the house. We do, however; offer select finishes to our clients at a vendor's rate:

Windows and doors by chosen manufacturer.
Stone for fireplaces, exteriors and floors.
Custom cabinets - we draw the cabinet design per your layout and order the cabinets direct from the manufacturer.

Dry Ins

An integral part of our building system is the SIP enclosure. The same company who drew your timber frame structure will draw the SIP structure. Here are some of the advantages of incorporating panels:

Panels are shipped from the closest manufacturing facility
We send a technical advisor during SIP installation
Panels are manufactured and delivered "Ready to Install" for ease of construction
